Several athletes from Glasgow High School placed in various events at the Class 2A state track meet Friday at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track Facility in Lexington.

Glasgow junior Denzel Wood placed fourth in Boys’ 110-Meter Hurdles (15.34).

Ky’Narious Flynt, a Glasgow junior, tied for sixth place in Boys’ High Jump (6-00, 1.82m).

Glasgow sophomore Kierra Green placed 13th in Girls’ 100-Meter Dash (12.85).

K.J. Hughes, a Glasgow senior, finished in ninth place in Girls’ Shot Put (32-00.50).

Glasgow’s Boys’ 4x200-Meter Relay team — sophomore Carter McKeever, junior Denzel Wood, junior Ky’Narious Flynt and sophomore Jamarri Mack — took seventh place with a time of 1:33.46.

Glasgow’s Boys’ 4x100-Meter Relay team — sophomore Carter McKeever, junior Denzel Wood, senior Dontavius Oates and junior Ky’Narious Flynt — finished in eighth place with a time of 44.64.

Glasgow’s Girls’ 4x200-Meter Relay team — sophomore Kierra Green, freshman Mikiya Fogle, sophomore Asia Starry and junior Alivia Christian — took eighth place with a time of 1:51.06.

Glasgow’s Girls’ 4x100-Meter Relay team — sophomore Kierra Green, freshman Mikiya Fogle, sophomore Kristyonna Starry and sophomore Asia Starry — finished in 15th place with a time of 52.54.

Caroline Murphy, a Glasgow eighth-grader, qualified for the Girls’ High Jump but did not place in the state competition.

Allen County-Scottsville junior Davi Thompson placed 13th in Boys’ Triple Jump (40-10.50).
