Aside from a forfeit victory, the Caverna Colonels hadn't won a game since 2015 before their contest against Shawnee on Friday night.

The Colonels broke the streak in impressive style with a 51-0 win.

Caverna was credited with a win over Green County last season. Though the Green Dragons won the game, they later had to forfeit the victory after it was deemed one of their players was ineligible.

Before that, Caverna last won a game on Oct. 16, 2015, when they defeated Fort Knox.

On Friday, quarterback Drew Rhodes threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for two more for the Colonels.

Mark Webb led Caverna with 150 rushing yards on six attempts, two of which went for touchdowns.
