Glasgow High’s Kent Bulle electrified the gallery at the Bowling Green Invitational Tournament Saturday by firing an 8-under 64 to capture medalist honors.

As a team, the Scotties finished tied for third place with the host Purples at 314.

Franklin-Simpson won the title with a team total 305 led by Adam McDonald’s 68, good for second place individually, and by Tyler Sipes who finished third individually with a 72.

Paducah St. Mary finished second as a team at 307.

Bulle’s 64 broke a 32-year old tournament record and also a tournament course record at the Bowling Green Country Club.

Bulle played error free while recording two eagles and four birdies in his amazing round.

Scottie coach Johnny Belcher is researching to see if Bulle may have set a new KHSAA mark.

Monroe County finished tied for 12th and the Barren County Trojans finished 15th in the 18-team field.
