The following indictments were returned in May by a Barren County grand jury. An indictment is a formal charge that represents only the prosecution’s side of the case and is not proof of guilt. All those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• James T. Bray, 28, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($10,000 or more but under $1 million), a Class C felony; one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony; and one count of first-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 14.

• Timothy R. Guess, 31, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($10,000 or more but under $1 million), a Class C felony; one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony; and one count of first-degree criminal mischief, a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 14.

• Joshua Miller, 26, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Nov. 30, 2018.

• Scott H. Meredith, 29, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance(gabapentin), a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of prescription controlled substance not in a proper container, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Nov. 30, 2018.

• Joshua R. Short, 35, of Bowling Green was indicted on 14 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony, and one count of second-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Nov. 25-Dec. 10, 2018.

• Raymond C. Edwards, 46, of Park City was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony; one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor; one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of second-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 15-18.

• Gary L. Ballard, 44, of Smiths Grove was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony; one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 15-18.

• Cory M. Winchester, 29, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of second-degree forgery, a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 7-April 2.

• Taryn B. Hill, 21, of Nicholasville was indicted on one count of first-degree bail jumping, a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 24.

• Tera H. Clemmons, 41, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by failure to make required disposition of property($10,000 or more), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about June 1, 2017 through Feb. 7.

• Bradley L. Quesenberry, 36, of Horse Cave was indicted on one count of theft by failure to make required disposition of property($10,000 or more), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about May 4, 2018.

• Madison D. Dearen, 32, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 30, 2017 through Feb. 8.

• Billy Troutt, 37, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 30, 2017 through Feb. 8.

• Marketta Simmons, 29, of Mt. Hermon was indicted on one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 2.

• Jonathan B. Bunch, 39, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony; one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony; and one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 2.

• Dusty C. Smith, 24, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 2.

• Kayla Burchfield, 27, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 20, 2018.

• Albert O. Bryant Jr., 28, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 20, 2018.

• Estol L. Cunningham Jr., 46, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 20, 2018.

• Angela R. Ballard, 38, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 20, 2018.

• Jessica L. Meadors, 21, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 20, 2018.

• Zackary S. Williams, 21, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/ possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about May 12, 2018.

• William D. Smith, 31, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Sept. 8, 2018.

• John A. McPhie, 43, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(methamphetamine, less than 2 grams, weapon enhancement), a Class C felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess(weapon enhancement), a Class D felony; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance(clonazepam), a Class D felony; and one count of prescription controlled substance not in proper container, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Sept. 14, 2018.

• Summer R. Eagle, 51, of Glasgow was indicted one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(methamphetamine, less than 2 grams, weapon enhancement), a Class C felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess(weapon enhancement), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Sept. 14, 2018.

• Adrienne Jones, 36, of Bowling Green was indicted on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance(xanax), a Class A misdemeanor; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of failure to notify address change to department of transportation, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 10, 2018.
