A man was arrested Monday after police said they found 28 marijuana plants growing inside a Cave City residence.
The Barren River Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home along Lexington Road and found an indoor marijuana grow operation, a news release issued Wednesday said. The task force discovered 28 marijuana plants along with processed marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the news release said.
Larry P. Collins, 49, of Cave City was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana(five plants or more), possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia buy/possess. He remained lodged in the Barren County Detention Center as of Wednesday evening.
The task force was assisted by the Barren County Sheriff's Office.
