Glasgow police are searching for a man wanted for robbing White Castle early Wednesday morning.

According to a news release, an employee told police that a white man inside the West Main Street restaurant had grabbed her arms and forced her into the kitchen area at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

When the employee screamed, another employee came to help her, and the man forced both of them to the cash register and forced them to open it, the news release said.

The man then left the store through a side door with an undetermined amount of money and ran in an unknown direction.

Both employees refused medical treatment.

Police believe the man was in the restaurant earlier in the evening with a woman.

He's identified as a white man with red hair and a short beard and mustache. He was wearing glasses, a blue Kentucky hoodie and light blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the GPD at 270-651-6165.
