Freddie Norris

Freddie M. Norris is seeking a second two-year term to the Glasgow City Council. Currently he represents the people of Glasgow on the Community Relief Board and the Public Safety Committee. He has been an active member of the Recreation Board and the Street Committee. He also serves as a volunteer at the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center, is a member of the Kiwanis Club and a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Norris and his wife, Loretta, have three children: Schellye (Paul) Gentry, Amy (Tracy) Bellamy, and Rodney (Amanda) Norris. He is a graduate of Glasgow High School, the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and the Memphis Theological Seminary PAS. Presently he is a staff pharmacist at Med Care Pharmacy which provides pharmaceutical services to several nursing homes across Kentucky. Last, but not least, he pastors the Neal’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Lecta community.

Norris says, “Thank you for your past words of encouragement and your vote. I promise to be your voice and will work always for the betterment of Glasgow. I ask for your vote in the upcoming election.”
