Glasgow Electric Plant Board customers who subscribe to Glasgow Classic Cable television will notice an increase when they receive their bill for July.
EPB’s board of directors recently voted to increase the rates. If customers live in the city, they can expect to begin paying an additional $1.30 for the service beginning in July. If customers live in the county, they can expect to pay a $1 more.
“We also raised the cost of the digital tier $1.05. This will take effect in July,” said William Ray, EPB superintendent. “We also went through all of our rates and did away with the rates ending in ‘.95’ by raising them all a nickel. We are doing this to just simplify everything and make it easier for customers to add up their services and easier for everyone to do the math.”
