A Glasgow man and a three-year-old passenger in his vehicle were injured Friday morning following a two-vehicle accident on West Main Street, Glasgow Police said.
Joseph L. Howell, 25, of 203 Indian Hills, and Nathan Hood, 3, of 121 Pocahontas Trail, both of Glasgow, were transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for possible injuries.
Police said Howell was traveling east on West Main Street approaching the intersection at U.S. 31-E at the same time Samuel D. Dickinson, 36, of 1891 Old Munfordville Road, Glasgow, was attempting to make a left turn into the parking lot of Central Bank.
Dickinson’s view was obstructed and another motorist motioned for him to pull across, police said.
Howell struck the front side of the 2003 Volvo Dickinson was driving with his 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier as Howell pulled across his lane of travel, according to police reports.
Dickinson was not injured in the collision. All parties were restrained at the time of the accident, police said.

Metcalfe County authorities are investigating after a female passenger was seriously injured Friday night when she fell out of a moving vehicle traveling Columbia Road. The injured party was rushed by ambulance to T.J. Samson for treatment. The accident occurred sometime around 6 p.m.
No other details were available at press time.
