The Spencers, a husband and wife magician team, will perform at the Plaza Theatre on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The show will feature illusions, comedy and choreography, as well as lighting and music. They will also call on audience members to assist them with some of the illusions.

“That’s when I have the most fun,” Kevin said.

The Spencers, Kevin and Cindy, travel with one of the largest touring illusion companies in the United States. In January 2003 they made the Stanley Cup for the National Hockey Leagues disappear as a kickoff to the NHL All-Star Weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., making both magic and sports history.

They have performed throughout the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mexico, New Zealand, Canada and Australia. The Spencers, who are entering their 22nd year on the road, work 280 to 300 days of the year. They recently returned from a tour of Asia and plan to go back in 2008.

Tickets to see the Spencers range from $15 to $25.
