Indiana woman arrested on drug charges


An Anderson, Indiana woman was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic stop on East Main Street on Sunday by Glasgow police. 

After field sobriety tests were conducted, Glasgow Police Officer Allen Riffle determined that Danielle Hornberger, 44, was under the influence and found Adipex pills inside the vehicle, said a Glasgow Police Department press release. 

Hornberger was charged with DUI (first offense), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, drug unspecified), third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and prescribed controlled substance not in proper container, the press release said. 

Hornberger was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and has since been released, according to the jail website.
