Glasgow police arrested three people on Monday morning following a traffic stop along Burkesville Road. 

Police received consent from Lisa Houchens, 34, of Glasgow, to search the vehicle and found methamphetamine in the middle console of the vehicle, said a Glasgow Police Department press release. 

During a search of the front seat passenger, Samantha Nance, 29, of Edmonton, police officers found a syringe that contained methamphetamine inside her boot, the press release said. 

A backseat passenger, Dustin Reneau, 39, of Glasgow, gave consent for his person to be searched and police officers found methamphetamine and a glass pipe inside a military-style bag that belonged to him, the press release said. 

Houchens was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense, greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine) and failure to illuminate head lamps, the press release said. 

Nance was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, the press release said. 

Reneau was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense, greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, the press release said. 

All three were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. Houchens is being held in lieu of a $2,500 cash bond. Bonds for Nance and Reneau were still pending at press time, according to the jail website.
