On Sunday, Glasgow police officers investigated a report of a firearm being discharged inside a South Morgan Street residence.
Through their investigation, Glasgow police officers learned that an altercation had taken place in the residence and that the firearm had been discharged by Jasean L. Patterson, 19, of Glasgow. No one was injured. The firearm had been reported stolen from Nashville, said a Glasgow Police Department press release.
Patterson was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with no visible injury, third-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree wanton endangerment and receiving stolen property (firearm), the press release said.
The arrest was made by Officer Hayden Phillips who was assisted by Officer Robert Jenkins and Officer Trey Wyatt, the press release said.
Patterson was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond, according to the jail’s website.
