A Glasgow man was arrested Sunday on multiple drug related charges after police responded to a residence along Parkview Drive in reference to a complaint.
Police spoke to Christian Taylor, 25, and found a glass methamphetamine pipe inside his pants pocket. Police also received consent to search the residence where they found Alprazolam, Clonidine Hydrochloride, Buspirone Hydrochloride, digital scales, a marijuana bong, a marijuana grinder, a large amount of money and an AR rifle, said a Glasgow Police Department press release.
Taylor was charged with third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense, greater or equal to drug unspecified with enhancement), trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a legend drug and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, drug unspecified), the press release said.
Taylor was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond, according to the jail website.
The arrest was made by Officer Michael Burgan who was assisted by Officer Guy Turcotte, Officer Chris Edwards and Sgt. Cameron Murrell, the press release said.
