Glasgow police officers responded to Elm Hill Drive on Wednesday in reference to a domestic violence situation.
When police officers arrived they were able to apprehend Adam Williams, 41, of Glasgow, as he was attempting to flee from the scene. Williams was also making threats toward the police officers, said a Glasgow Police Department press release.
Williams was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), third-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), public intoxication by controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and any felony charge not covered by the above codes, the press release said.
Williams was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond, according to the jail website.
Officer Jeff Childress made the arrest. He was assisted by Officer Wesley Hicks and Officer Mark Cromwell, the press release said.
