A Glasgow man was arrested Friday on drug charges following a traffic stop along Humble Avenue.
Glasgow police identified the driver of the vehicle as Jason Harper, 38, and confirmed that the vehicle’s registration plate had been cancelled. Police officers obtained consent to search the vehicle and found marijuana, methamphetamine and a glass pipe inside the vehicle, said a Glasgow Police Department press release.
Harper was charged with possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and no registration plate, the press release said.
Harper was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and has since been released on a $2,500 unsecured bond, according to the jail’s website.
