Glasgow man arrested following shots fired complaint


The Glasgow Police Department responded to a call of shots being fired along Vine Street early Monday morning. 

After further investigation, police officers determined that an altercation had taken place and resulted in several shots being fired from a 9 mm handgun that struck a vehicle. No injuries were reported during the shooting, said a Glasgow Police Department press release. 

Andrew W. Olin, 33, of Glasgow, was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, the press release said. 

Olin was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond, which is pending, according to the jail website. 

The arrest was made by Officer Allen Riffle, who was assisted by Sgt. Jessie Barton, the press release said.
