A Barren County grand jury returned the following indictments in August. An indictment is a formal charge that represents only the prosecution’s side of the case and is not proof of guilt. All those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Sara M. Rouster, 36, of Glasgow was indicted for one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony; one count of first-degree criminal mischief, a Class D felony; and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(under $500), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 12-May 3.

• James T. Jaggers, 32, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of fraudulent use of a credit/debit card($500 or more but less than $10,000), a Class D felony, and one count of theft/receipt of stolen credit card or debit card, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about June 21-22.

• Angella D. Minton, 44, of Horse Cave was indicted on seven counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(under $500), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 29.

• Taylor N. Jester, 31, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree fleeing or evading police(motor vehicle), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about July 15.

• Thomas A. Dobson, 50, of Adolphus was indicted on one count of second-degree complicity to criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(under $500), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Sept. 13, 2018.

• James M. Boule, 36, of Salem, Indiana was indicted o one count of receiving stolen property($500 or more but less than $10,000), a Class D felony; one count of leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of second-degree criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about May 3.

• Eric B. Denton, 25, of Horse Cave was indicted on one count of possession of synthetic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 27.

• Marian E. Gooden, 47, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(under $500), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Sept. 13, 2018.

• Chad L. Deising, 46, of Antioch, Tennessee, was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(heroin), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Jan. 18.

• Melissa A. Jewell, 38, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, third or more offense), a Class D felony, and one count of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 3.

• Kem A. ingram, 51, of Louisville was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, third or more offense), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 6.

• Jerry T. Pedigo, 47, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of operating a motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for driving under the influence(third or subsequent offense), a Class D felony; one count of failure of owner to maintain required insurance, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of first-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 19.

• Misty D. Nance, 41, of Edmonton was indicted on one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(methamphetamine, more than 2 grams), a Class C felony; one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance(suboxone), a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 2.

• Amanda R. Eversole, 34, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), a Class D felony; one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance(buprenorphine), a Class A misdemeanor; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 9.

• Devonja Z. Sweat, 23, of Nashville, Tennessee was indicted on one count of first-degree promoting contraband, a Class D felony; one count of possession of synthetic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 23.

• Ronald E. Matthews, 61, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 25.

• Collin M. Wheat, 21, of Cave City was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of possession of synthetic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 27.

• Stevie R. Staten, 61, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of possession of synthetic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 27.

• Jennifer A Meadors, 38, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of possession of synthetic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 27.

• Charles J. Young, 57, of Park City was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of possession of synthetic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 27.

• Stephanie M. Whitlow, 28, of Knob Lick was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, third or more offense), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 31.

• Christopher A. Deweese, 35, of Owensboro was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of giving officer false identifying information, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 29.

• Tommy G. Miller, 49, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of incest, a Class B felony; one count of third-degree sodomy, a Class D felony; and one count of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities, a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 10, 2018 to Dec. 26, 2018.

• Quenci M. Austin, 26, of Smiths Grove was indicted on one count of trafficking in marijuana(8 ounces or more but less than 5 pounds), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 20.
