The following indictments were returned in May by a Barren County grand jury. An indictment is a formal charge that represents only the prosecution’s side of the case and is not proof of guilt. All those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Shawna M. Smith, 29, of Bowling Green was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance(gabapentin), a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of prescription controlled substance not in proper container, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 25, 2018.

• Kody V. Kesler, 19, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 25, 2018.

• Tony R. Kean, 53, of Russell Springs was indicted on one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(oxycodone, 10 or more dosage units), a Class C felony; one count of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(buprenorphine, less than 20 dosage units), a Class C felony; one count of third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(gabapentin, less than 20 dosage units, weapon enhancement), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of illegal possession of a legend drug, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 31, 2018.

• Dustin R. Trobaugh, 33, of Summer Shade was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a Class D felony, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Nov. 10, 2018.

• Douglas E. Justice, 47, of Smiths Grove was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, third or more offense), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., a Class B misdemeanor; one count of failure of owner to maintain required insurance, a Class B misdemeanor; one count of first-degree promoting contraband, a Class D felony; one count of tampering with physical evidence, a Class D felony; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance(xanax), a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of first-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 8, 2018.

• Justin O. Wisdom, 34, of Burkesville was indicted on one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(methamphetamine, more than 2 grams), a Class C felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of first-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Dec. 10, 2018.

• Kassie M. Vaughn, 30, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of possession of synthetic drugs(second or subsequent offense), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 16, 2018.

• Amanda L. Davidson, 34, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, third or more offense), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Jan. 15.

• Peter A. Fauber, 41, of Cane City was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Jan. 15.

• Adam K. Williams, 41, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, a Class C felony; one count of operating on a suspended/revoked operator's license, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of possession of a defaced firearm, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 22.

• Robert L. Myers III, 31, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), a Class D felony, and one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 25.

• Timron L. Knox, 28, of Adairville was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, second offense), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 27.

• Michael M. Cope, 41, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(under $500), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 1.

• Julio C. Alonso, 37, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition($500 or more but under $10,000), a Class D felony, and one count of second-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 1.

• Aaron C. Thomas, 22, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 4.

• Daniel B. Depp, 38, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, and one count of second-degree disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 7.

• Toni M. Harmon, 28, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(under $500), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about Feb. 1.

• Cardale S. Kirk Jr., 26, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, a Class C felony; one count of first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony; one count of tampering with physical evidence, a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of first-degree persistent felony offender, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 5.

• Tony R. Keen, 38, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(methamphetamine, third or more offense), a Class D felony; one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(hydrocodone, third or more offense), a Class D felony; and one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc.(second offense), a Class A misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 9.

• Sadi A. Waterstraat, 36, of Milwaukee was indicted on one count of first-degree promoting contraband, a Class D felony; one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance(amphetamine), a Class D felony; one count of tampering with physical evidence, a Class D felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of prescription controlled substance not in proper container, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 11.

• Richard N. Short, 40, of Glasgow was indicted on one count of first-degree burglary, a Class B felony; one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition(firearm), a Class D felony; and one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about March 29.

• William T. Froedge, 27, of Summer Shade was indicted on one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(methamphetamine, more than 2 grams), a Class C felony; one count of drug paraphernalia buy/possess, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of operating on a suspended/revoked operator's license, a Class B misdemeanor; and one count of failure of non-owner/operator to maintain required insurance, a Class B misdemeanor, for crimes that allegedly occurred on or about April 19.
