South Green Elementary fourth-graders visited Mammoth Cave National Park on Friday for an environmental education program, during which they learned about the transfer of energy. Park Ranger Cory Fish oversees a game of Bat Moth, which is similar to Marco Polo, and is used to simulate used echo location using sound energy. The students' visit was made possible by an Every Kids Outdoor Grant the national park recently received. Gina Kinslow / Glasgow Daily Times
