The Saint Helen Food Pantry, 230 Cavalry Drive, Glasgow, service hours are 9:30 a.m. until noon the first four Mondays of the month; closed on holidays and also on the fifth Monday of the month. Please remain in your autos on delivery day the first Monday of the month and please do not enter inside until the delivery truck has been unloaded and everything has been taken inside for the safety of all! Always bring proof of ID and address each month you pick up.

Community Soup Kitchen serves free meals to anyone in the community from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (no evening meals are served) at the Liberty District Ralph Bunche Community Center. Tuesday

Disabled American Veterans Department of Kentucky will have State Service Officers at the Veterans Support and Assistance Office of South Central Kentucky, 315 South Green St., Glasgow, each Tuesday of each month (except holidays) from 8 a.m. until last veteran is served, to assist veterans with the filing of V.A. Claims. Veterans should bring a copy of DD-214 and any paperwork from the V.A. to each visit. Veterans do not have to be a member of the DAV to obtain this service.

Disabled American Veterans Chapter 20 meets at 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday night of each month at the clubhouse on Ky. 1297 (across from Akebono).

Stroke Support group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Glasgow First Christian Church.

Habitat for Humanity accepts donations of furniture, appliances, household items and building materials. The store, at 506 W. Main St. in Glasgow, is open Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. If you’re unable to deliver a donation, call 270-629-5775 to schedule a pickup.
