Lisa Calhoun Underwood Memorial Softball Showcase canceled

GLASGOW — The Lisa Calhoun Underwood Memorial Softball Showcase, scheduled for today at American Legion Park in Glasgow, has been canceled due to inclement weather. According to Glasgow High School Softball Coach Steven Murphy, the event will not be rescheduled.

Murphy did say Showcase T-shirts are still available for $5 and all proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts will go to the American Cancer Society. To purchase a T-shirt, contact Murphy at (270) 590-8622.

    Mr. Stice chose cremation and a time for visitation and a memorial service will be announced later. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

    A celebration of Jeff’s life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1368 S. 28th St., Louisville, with burial to follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff with military honors. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of service, all at the church.

    Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery officiated by the Honorable Lee Mounger of Houston, Texas. There will be a celebration of life dinner immediately after his graveside service at the Ole French Restaurant in Glasgow.
