5:55 AFTERNOON UPDATE: No serious injuries in Happy Valley collision

GLASGOW —

Authorities responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Happy Valley and Reynolds Roads early Monday afternoon, with no serious injuries or fatalities reported.

According to Lt. Jimmy Phelps of the Glasgow Police Department, the driver of a 1994 Nissan pickup was traveling west on Happy Valley Road and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Reynolds Road and pulled into the path of a 2008 Honda Odyssey, which was traveling east.

“Those units pretty much hit head on,” Phelps said, “causing the 1994 Nissan to lose control and spin out and strike a 1997 Honda Accord that was also traveling east. The driver of the pickup and the driver of the Honda Odyssey were both transported to T.J. Samson [Community Hospital] with non-life threatening injuries.”

Phelps said more information as well as the drivers' identities will be released once the families of all parties involved have been notified.

The driver of the Accord was not injured and refused medical attention, Phelps said.

“There was just minor damage to her vehicle,” Phelps said.
