Rolling road blocks Thursday on Interstate 65

BOWLING GREEN —  Motorists traveling southbound on Interstate 65 Thursday between Munfordville and Cave City may experience brief delays (15-20 minutes) from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m.

Kentucky Transportation Crews will be setting beams at the Cave City interchange (Exit 53). In order to move the material into place, rolling road blocks will be used for traffic control.

State highway personnel will periodically slow traffic in order to create a gap while the material is positioned and placed at the overpass. These rolling road blocks will last approximately 15 minutes and will be staggered to allow traffic to clear out and move freely before initiating the next rolling road block.

The southbound on ramps to I-65 at Munfordville and Horse Cave will also be blocked in conjunction with the rolling road blocks.

The work should be completed Thursday, weather permitting.
