Jean Ann Scamihorn
Jean Ann Scamihorn, 64, of Terre Haute, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born on Oct. 15, 1945, in Terre Haute, to John F. Stanton and Rose Ann (Vallely) Stanton. She was employed at Columbia Home Products, formerly known as General Housewares, in quality control. She had worked there for 41 years.
She is survived by a son, Troy Summers; two daughters, Pamela Norman, and Jamie Elkins and her husband Scott; one brother, John Stanton III and his wife Virginia; 11 grandchildren, Alexis Summers, Allison Summers, Chelsie Elkins, Scott Elkins Jr., Jocelyn Ash, Jerry Ash Jr., Lauren Norman, Ashley Norman, Sheldon Norman, Jacob Norman, and Cedric Norman; and great-grandchildren, Hailey Brewer and Caleb Phipps. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James H. Scamihorn.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
