Margaret M. Wiggins
Mrs. Margaret M. Wiggins, 89, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in the Union Hospital. She was born on Feb. 19, 1920, in Terre Haute, the daughter of Walter Thomas Boyd and Minnie (Clark) Boyd. She married Everett E. Wiggins Sr. and he preceded her in death. Margaret was a homemaker and also had worked as a salad cook for Indiana State University. She had attended the Senior Citizen Center. Her hobbies included traveling, euchre, picnics and loving all her grandchildren.
Survivors include four boys, Everett Wiggins Jr. and wife Pauline of Carmel, Victor Wiggins Sr. and wife Rosemary and Perry Wiggins, all of Terre Haute, and Tom Wiggins Sr. and wife Cathy of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Harold Boyd of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Virginia Horsley and Katherine Salter.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
