4:10 AFTERNOON UPDATE: I-65 northbound may still be congested

ELIZABETHTOWN — From Kentucky State Police post in Elizabethtown:

UPDATE: Just cleared crash scene. Backup for about 5 miles and is moving/stop and go. Should take under an hour for flow to return to normal.

A crash involving a semi and car has the outside lane and shoulder blocked directly across from where yesterday's crash occurred at MP 74, northbound.   Traffic is backed up to mile point 68 at this time.  Motorists are urged to use additional caution upon approaching stopped and slow moving traffic.

Cleanup may take up to an hour.

Based on yesterday's dispersion of congestion, motorists may experience delays for the next 3-4 hours, northbound.
