Ellis Wininger, playing in a backup role to injured quarterback Andrew Hughes, threw three touchdowns to Chad Eaton Friday night to lead the Barren County High School Trojans to a 35-20 victory at Taylor County. The win was the Trojans’ third win in a row and pushes Barren County’s overall record to 4-5.
“It is really an exciting time (around the football program) right now,” said Barren County coach Jason Esters. “We’ve gotten through a tough part of our schedule and now we’re playing very well down the stretch.”
