There is a lot riding on Barren County High School’s football game Friday at Logan County. Not only would a victory give the Trojans three wins on the season, but it would secure a playoff spot for BCHS and set the Trojans up to be the third seed in the district. To say Friday’s game is important, would be an understatement.
“We will be the third seed if we win Friday night. I haven’t looked into it much because I just want to win,” said Barren County coach Jason Esters. “But if we lose Friday, there could be a three-way tie for third and they would have to go into all that tie-breaker stuff. I think we would still make it, but I don’t want it to go into a tiebreaker.”
The Trojans go into Friday’s contest with a 2-5 overall record, while Logan County is winless this season in seven outings.
