GLASGOW — Lady Scotties win one, lose one

The Lady Scotties softball squad got off to a rough start Sunday at the Florida Beach Bash in Ft. Walton Beach, losing to East Jessamine 8-1. After a leadoff home run by Bailey Alexander, the Lady scotties were hitless in their next 17 at bats. Zoie Ross pitched first for the Lady Scotties and went two innings. Brittany Dugger came on in relief for the Scotties.

On Monday, the Glasgow softball squad beat Lafayette 5-4. Brittany Dugger gets win going 7 innings, giving up 4 earned runs, 12 hits, 1 hit batter, and 3 strikeouts. Down 2-1 in the fourth, then tied it. Glasgow took the lead in the 6th inning. They got two insurance runs in the 7th as they had the tying run at third to end the game. Bailey Alexander was the leading hitter, 2-4. Haven Hernandez, Taylor Williams and Maggie Phelps each had a hit.

Glasgow comes away with win

Glasgow baseball won 13-3 in six innings over Washington County on Monday.
