Glasgow gives Central Hardin battle, loses 7-5

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Scotties gave Central Hardin all it wanted, but still came out on the short end of a 7-5 baseball decision Tuesday.

Connor Glass led Glasgow at the plate with three hits and two runs batted in on the day. JT Green was 1-2 with a sacrifice, a walk and a RBI. He also scored two runs.

Dalton Shoemake got the start on the mound for the Scotties. He went four innings and allowed five runs on four hits. He walked two and struck out three.

Matt Shives came on in relief, allowing two runs on three hits.

Glasgow will visit Greenwood on Thursday.
