The Glasgow High School Scotties used four pitchers Thursday afternoon to pick up a 4-1 victory at Hart County High School.
The victory pushed the Scotties’ overall record to 2-0 as they head into Friday’s contest at Caverna. The first pitch is set for 5 p.m.
The Barren County Trojans couldn’t seem to generate much offense in the inclement weather Thursday afternoon as they dropped a 4-0 decision at Bowling Green High School.
“The weather was awful. It was sleeting and raining even before we took infield,” said Barren County coach Johnny Vance. “We just didn’t hit it much today. I think we had four total hits for the game and you’re not going to beat a lot of people with just four hits.”
