Barren captures home track meet

GLASGOW — Barren County swept a home meet Tuesday. The Trojans’ rolled, outscoring second-place Glasgow 142.5 to 97. Cumberland County was third, Monroe County finished fourth and Allen County-Scottsville placed fifth.

In the girls’ meet, Barren edged Glasgow 125-122 to capture first as a team. Monroe was third, Allen was fourth and Cumberland finished fifth.

Many of these same teams are scheduled to compete in the Terry Reed Track Classic at Barren County High School this coming Tuesday.
