GMS girls sweep hoop doubleheader with Warren East

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Middle School Lady Scotties swept a recent basketball doubleheader with Warren East. The seventh-grade Lady Scotties took a 28-6 win, while the eighth-graders won, 31-21.

The Lady Scotties had little trouble in the first game as they led 4-0 after one period and 9-2 at the half.

Jaidyn Franklin led GMS in scoring with 13 points. Amanda Lee had seven points and Brooklyn Pennycuff scored four. Allison Bragg and Taylor Lindsey scored two points each.

Glasgow was in complete control in the final game of the night, rolling to the 10-point win.

Kaylyn Hale was a force to be reckoned with as she scored 13 points to lead GMS to the victory. Lee had seven points, while Asani Howard scored six and Briana Viers totaled four. Destany Wheeler had one point for GMS.
