Metcalfe County High School Football Coach Freddie Harbison has been tucked away inside his office for the past few days watching film. Besides watching game film from his team’s 19-13 loss to Barren County last week, Harbison has been watching a lot of film on Monroe County and Harbison likes what he sees.
Harbison and the Hornets will travel to Tompkinsville on Friday to take on the Monroe County Falcons. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
“There’s a lot of good talent there. The big thing for Monroe County, I think, is the game experience,” Harbison said. “They have talented players, it is just a matter of time before they get game experience under their belts. Hopefully we have a few kids that have more game experience. So, hopefully that will be a big payoff for us.”
