Esters looking for sense of urgency from team

GLASGOW — It would be easy for the Barren County High School Trojans to go into Friday’s contest with Warren Central down and dejected. After all, the Trojans, one of the youngest teams in Class 5A, have played pretty well this season, but sport only a 1-3 record. After beating Metcalfe County in the season opener, BCHS has lost to Warren East, Glasgow and Monroe County.

But that’s not how head coach Jason Esters runs his program. Barren County has had a good week of practice and Esters said the Trojans are ready to battle the Dragons on Homecoming night.
