The Barren County High School Trojans dropped a tough game to visiting Warren East High School Friday night as the Trojans were beaten 11-7.
The Raiders used timely hitting in a seven-run fifth inning to gain the victory. With four walks and one hit batsman, it took only two hits to plate the seven runs. Warren East’s big inning, followed a four run fourth by the Trojans.
Barren County jumped to a one-run lead in the first inning before the Raiders took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning.
Warren East added one more in the fourth before breaking it open in the fifth. Barren County also scored one in the sixth and one run in the seventh innings.
