The draws for the Region 4 basketball tournaments were held Saturday, and the Glasgow Lady Scotties and Barren County Trojans both will open with games against Russell County.
In the Girls' Region 4 Tournament at Allen County-Scottsville High School, District 15 champion Glasgow (26-6) faces District 16 runner-up Russell County (14-14) in the quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Monday. The winner advances to meet either South Warren or Logan County at 6 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
The other half of the girls' bracket finds Bowling Green meeting ACS at 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by Clinton County and Franklin-Simpson. The winners of those games play at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The girls' championship game is at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The Boys' Region 4 Tournament will be held at Barren County High School. The District 15 champion Trojans (21-8) open against District 16 runner-up Russell County (18-9) at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will meet either Bowling Green or Franklin-Simpson in the semifinals at 6 p.m. March 10.
District 15 runner-up Monroe County (20-10) meets District 13 champion Russellville (11-18) at 8 p.m. Thursday. The winner advances to face either Clinton County or Warren Central at 8 p.m. March 10.
The boys' championship game is at 7 p.m. March 11.
