Glasgow High School’s Ashton Foushee blistered the Glasgow Golf and Country Club course Monday afternoon to shoot 75 and help the Lady Scotties finish second behind Henry Clay in the annual Lady Scottie Invitational.
Henry Clay finished with a team total of 309, while Glasgow was just six strokes back at 315.
“I was excited about finishing second in a field like this. The girls played very well today,” said Glasgow coach Kellie Lee. “And with Ashton coming in with a 75 today, we played very well.”
Elizabethtown finished third in the final team standings with a 327 total. Owensboro Catholic and Russell County finished with identical 331s, while Taylor County finished with a 337. Monroe County finished the day at 356, as did Allen County. Barren County shot 359 as a team total with South Warren at 366, Greenwood at 373 and Bowling Green at 396.
