The Monroe County High School football tradition is well storied. Since 2008, the Falcons are 48-19 and have reached the fourth round of the Kentucky High School state playoffs in three of the last five years.
The Falcons go into Friday’s game with Glasgow High School with a 4-1 record and part of this year’s success, coach John Petett says, is due directly to what Monroe County has been able to do in the past. Tradition means a lot when you wear a Falcon uniform.
