Trojans look to stop potent Glasgow backfield

GLASGOW — Jason Esters, the head football coach at Barren County High School, was just being honest recently when he said the Glasgow High School Scotties, the Trojans’ opponent this Friday, is the best team his squad as faced all year. He wasn’t taking anything away from previous opponents Metcalfe County and Warren East, but Esters believes the Scotties pose a number of obstacles for his squad to overcome.

“Glasgow is the best team we’ve played so far this year. They’re the most rounded team we will see early on this year,” Esters said.

“Glasgow is solid and we’re going to have to play an excellent game on both sides of the football.”
