The Barren County High School Trojanettes came from behind Wednesday to post a 10-3 victory over visiting Monroe County in District 15 softball action. BCHS scored three runs in the fifth inning and four runs in the sixth to secure the victory.
“In the first week of the season, we went down to Franklin-Simpson and got behind 7-0,” said Barren County coach Kevin Jackson. “We ended up scoring six runs in the last inning and we talked that night about no matter who we get behind in a game, we have a chance to come back and win. And I think that paid off for us tonight. We didn’t have our ‘A’ game tonight, but sometimes it is good to have to win and not have your ‘A’ game.”
