The Barren County Trojans used a five-run fourth inning Friday afternoon to help them pick up an 8-6 victory over Elizabethtown.
“We swung the bats better today. We scored some runs and that’s something we hadn’t been doing a lot of lately,” said Barren County coach Johnny Vance.
“I think our guys had better at-bats. They’re going to the plate with a better idea of what they want to swing at. And tonight, that paid off.”
