Beals wins BC meet

— Campbell Beals finished first to lead the Barren County boys to a second place finish in Tuesday’s cross country meet at Barren County High School.
The Glasgow boys finished fourth and the Metcalfe County boys finished fifth.
Kaley Dunbar finished second in the individual standings to lead the Trojanettes to a second place finish. The Lady Scotties finished third.
Allen County-Scottsville finished first in both the boys and girls team races.
In addition to Beals, the Trojans also had two more top 10 finishes in Mason Dunbar and Eric Skipworth, who finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
Isaac Roddy, of Monroe County, finished second in the individual standings. Caverna was led by Zachary Wood, who finished 12th, Jason Shirley paced Metcalfe County with a 15th place finish and Pranav Santapuram finished 17th to lead Glasgow on the day.
The Trojanettes had five top 10 finishes to finish just five points behind the first place Lady Patriots in the team standings. Ally Davis finished fifth, Cassie Radish took eighth, Chloe Caudel finished ninth and Taylor Davis finished 10th.
Natalie Shields took fourth place to lead the Lady Scotties. Monroe had two individuals in the girl’s race while Caverna had one.
