Wade ties for 77th with final round of 80
CONCORD, N.H. – Glasgow’s Whitney Wade shot a three-day total of 226 to tie for 77th at the Duramed FUTURES Tour’s USI Championship over the weekend.
Wade opened with a par-72 on Friday and shot a 2-over 74 on Saturday to tie for 43rd after two rounds at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. She slipped into a tie for 77th with a final round of 80.
Wade’s next event is closer to home. The FUTURES tour hits Kentucky Aug. 8-10 at the Falls Auto Group Classic at Crooked Creek Golf Community in London.

BCHS football alumni game is Saturday
Barren County High School alumni are hosting the 4th-annual alumni football bowl game Saturday. Games start at 6:30 p.m. at the high school. Anyone wanting to play should be at the school at 5 p.m.

WKU’s Neidell will coach national team - BOWLING GREEN
Western Kentucky’s women’s soccer coach has been selected to coach the United States National Team in a 2009 event.
Jason Neidell will lead the United States’ women’s team during the 18th World Maccabiah Games in Israel next summer.
The Games will take place July 13-23, and will be the world’s third largest international athletic competition.
The women’s open squad he will coach brought home gold medals from the Pan American Games in January 2008.
Abby Richter of Kent State University will assist Neidell.
