BCHS football practice begins Thursday
Barren County High School will hold its first football practice of the 2008 season July 10 at 6:30 at the football field house.
The practice is open to any BCHS student entering grades 9-12.

BCHS football camp begins Thursday
Barren County High School is hosting a football camp July 10-11 for students entering grades 3-8.
The cost of the camp is $25 and it is open to any student regardless of school district. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and lunch will be provided on July 11.
Parents can preregister their child by sending the $25 fee to Barren County High School, Attn: Football Camp, 507 Trojan Trail, Glasgow, KY 42141.

GHS soccer meeting is set for July 14
Glasgow High School will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. on July 14 for boys and girls in grades 7-12 interested in playing soccer in the upcoming school year.
The meeting will take place in the GHS cafeteria.
Physicals will be collected at that time and other information will be disseminated.

BCMS holds first football practice July 14
The Barren County Middle School football team will begin practicing on July 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jackie B. Browning Little League Football Field. Cleat orders may be made at Hibbett’s in Glasgow.

Stockton hoops camp is July 14-16
Brandon Stockton, who was the state’s Mr. Basketball while prepping at Glasgow High School and went on to play at the University of Kentucky, will host a Shooting Stars Basketball Camp July 14-16 at Glasgow High School.
The camp runs from noon-4 p.m. each day and is limited to the first 75 campers. The cost to attend is $50 per camper. The camp is open to boys and girls age 7-18.
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt and an evaluation card.
The camp also includes daily contests and prizes, guest speakers and personalized skill assessments.
