The Glasgow boys defeated the Caverna boys 8-1, while the Caverna girls picked up a 4-1 win over the Glasgow girls. The Lady Colonels won two of three singles matches and a pair of doubles matches to pick up the win. On the boys side, the Scotties won all six singles matches and two of three doubles tilts. Glasgow returns to play today with a 4:30 p.m. match at Metcalfe County. Caverna 4, Glasgow 1 Girls singles 1. Jordan Forbes (C) def. Heather Fields (G) 6-0, 6-0. 2. Jamie Hatcher (C) def. Chandra Taylor (G) 7-6 (7-3), 6-4. 3. McLean Lessenberry (G) def. Sloan Bull (C) 8-1. Girls doubles 1. Dylan Denison/Shelby Banks (C) def. Gretchen Bishop/Kelsey Wheeler (G) 6-1, 6-1. 2. Dawn Richardson/Havyn West (C) def. Jessica Lynch/Katelyn Baker (G) 6-0, 6-3.
