Glasgow gets rematch with Cumberland By JOHN VERSERGlasgow Daily Times “I felt like last year we started a new era for Glasgow basketball,” Fant added. “And doing it again this year proves that last year wasn’t a fluke.”
Hatchett feels like the time playing at WKU’s arena last year will help, especially with the length of the floor being 10 feet longer. “We definitely know how it is. It’s different playing at Diddle,” Hatchett said. “The floor is bigger, so it’s good to have that experience and know how it’s like. It’s a lot different than playing in any gym around here.” And the season starts over once again at 0-0 Tuesday for Glasgow. “I told them again today (Saturday), the district tournament is over,” Crain said. “We can’t look in the past now, we’ve got to now look forward to our new tournament, the Fourth Region Tournament. March Madness is here. Anything can happen. It’s a magical time of the year. “I want these girls to come out, and I know they’re going to give me full strength. They’re going to give me all their heart and all their soul, and we’re going to toss it up and see what happens.”
