GLASGOW — Thanks to those who helped make annual fair a success

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Temple Hill Lion’s Club, we want to thank everyone who attended the 58th annual Barren County Fair.  With the 7,590 fairgoers who visited our fair, it was the most heavily attended fair we have ever hosted.

We cannot put on this event without the help of the many individuals who volunteered over the course of the week and we sincerely thank them.

Also, we had several groups that provided services for us during the week that we would like to recognize such as Barren County Emergency Management, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office and the Temple Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

We also had several businesses that donated equipment and supplies as well and we encourage everyone to check out the sponsors in our fair catalog. We are happy with how successful the fair was this year and we look forward to a bigger and better one next year.
