Anita Atwell, 80, of Horse Cave, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxie Walton Philpott and Mary Jane Maulden Philpott, and her husband, Ralph Atwell.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at the Garvin Family Cemetery in Horse Cave. Visitation is 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
GLASGOW — Bessie L. Bartley, 70, Glasgow, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of Mary and the late John Stickney. She was a private duty healthcare provider and a member of the Glasgow Faith Church.
Survivors include one son, Philip Dale Bartley of Glasgow; two grandsons, Jonathan (Brittany) Bartley and Tyler (Leslie Shelton) Bartley; two special grandsons, Brandon and Eric Bulle; several other family members in Ohio.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Bartley; her long-time companion, David W. Jessie; two children, Earl Lynn Bartley and Katherine Bartley.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in White Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
JASPER, Ga. — Wade Browning, 55, Jasper, GA, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Browning was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Midway United Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the Army National Guard, was a Kentucky Colonel, and was co-owner of North Fulton Feed & Seed, Cherokee Feed & Seed, and J & J Hay Farms.
Survivors include is wife, Sandy Ritter Browning; two sons, Adam (Stacey) Browning of Alabama, and Ben (Amy) Browning of Woodstock, GA; two daughters, Tracy (Greg) Selby and Robin Bradshaw, all of Kentucky; his parents, Frank and Florence Hogan Browning of Kentucky; two brothers, Alan (Alicia) Browning of Tennessee and David (Annell) Browning of Kentucky; Sherri (Alan) Jessie of Jasper, GA; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Jimmy Lively and one step-grandson, Taylor Parmer.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Dana Lee Tooley Burrell, 83, of Tompkinsville. died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Tompkinsville. She was the wife of the late George Burrell and the daughter of the late Albert Tooley and Beulah Holland Tooley.

RANDOLPH — Mary Lou DeWeese, 69, of the Randolph community, died Thursday, Dec. 8, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Pauline Francis Wilson and a member of Dripping Springs Baptist Church. She was a retired machine operator in the clothing industry.
She is survived by her husband, Roger DeWeese; two daughters, Karen Cooksey of Edmonton and Tammy Shive (Jim Corbin) of Glasgow; three sons, Howie (Pam) DeWeese of Randolph, Steven DeWeese of Glasgow and Gary (Stephanie) DeWeese of Knob Lick; sisters, Francis (Howard) Taylor of Indiana, and Betty (Richey) Coffey of Edmonton; brothers, Dee (Nancy) Wilson of Lexington, Eugene (Kathy) Wilson of Glasgow, Kenneth Wilson of Glasgow, Collie (Mary Lee) Wilson of Cave City and Odell (Betty Jo) Wilson of Lexington; grandchildren, Shana (Max) Lawson, Curtis (Mandy) DeWeese, Kara Brooke DeWeese, Tony DeWeese, LaKeasha (Chyson) Edwards, Hannah DeWeese, Jennifer Morales and Frannie Jimenez; one great-grandchild, Aubrey DeWeese.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Annabelle Martin and brothers, James Robert and Marion Wilson.

EDMONTON — Judy Annette Harbison, 44, of Edmonton, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at her home. She was the daughter of Bobby Garmon and wife Sherry Garmon of Greensburg and Patricia Garmon of Cave City. She was a member of the Willow Shade Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Harbison of Edmonton; one daughter, Jessica and husband Creg Crowe of Edmonton; one son, Hunter Harbison of Edmonton; two step-children, Kyle Harbison and Jenny (Scotty) Woosley all of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Braxton Harbison, Keith Crowe and Emma Woosley; two brothers, Adam Garmon of Glasgow and Shane (Robin) Garmon of Greensburg; four sisters, Phyllis (David) Houchens of Glasgow, Sandy (Jamie) Karnes of Cave City, Teresa Atwell of Knob Lick and Wendy (Ryan) Pickett of Greensburg.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Garmon.

RAILTON — Aline Margaret Payne Lowe, 92, of Railton, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at NHC Healthcare Facility after a lengthy illness. The Barren County native was born April 20, 1919, to the late Marion Frank Payne and Virgie Smith Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of the Shiloh General Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marshall Lowe, one son Wallace Wesley Lowe, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include five children, James F. Lowe, Jr. (Marie), Dorothy Madison (David), Frances Whitley, and Steve Lowe (Karla) all of Railton and Jerry Lowe (Judy) of Florida; 11 grandchildren, Mary Jones, Pamela Smith, Neal Holman, Timmy Dale Holman, Darrell Whitley, Ricky Whitley, Leisha Beckham, David W. Lowe, Karin Michelle Saltanovitz, Jayson Lowe and Ben Lowe; 17 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Eurma Finn of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews.
